Chinese New Year Craft Night January 28th 2014

Could this be the most exciting Make Escape ever?!
We're back (after our 1st month off!) with an all sticking - all colouring craftathon to celebrate Chinese New Year which for 2014. is the Year Of The Horse. Join us for a night of origami, fortune cookies and a dash of pre-Valentines love thrown in.

Chinese New Year wouldn't be the same without lanterns. Illuminate your home with your own colour creation, assisted by paper jeweller Clarissa Giles.

Wait until you see the yummy range of origami papers we've saved up for you! 
Come along and learn how to make valentine hearts with artist Benedita Rangel from Eleven Craft Elves, while local crafter/baker Alison Beadnell will be help you turn a sheet of red paper into a lucky horse.

To celebrate this most equestrian of occasions Suzi from Team Make Escape will be helping you make your own rosettes, choose how you'll be rewarding yourself - First Prize, Runner up, Crafter No. 1?

Knit one/purl one

If your new year's resolution is to learn to knit, you need a reminder or just fancy bringing along your current project and clicking away with creatives, hang out in our knitting knook and you'll soon make lots of mates.

Don't forget in Collage Corner you can do what you want but we'll be giving you ideas to make your Valentine Cards or embellish a dragon mask

The action kicks off at 7.30pm and we're there until 11. We've got a private bar, the best DJs in town (The Spinning Yarns ) and grub is available on the ground floor.
